The Alternative Projections Symposium took place November 12 to November 14, 2010 at the University of Southern California Eileen Norris Cinema Theatre and The Ray Stark Family Theatre, and was co-presented with USC School of Cinematic Arts & Visions and Voices: The USC Arts & Humanities Initiative. Over 600 people attended throughout the weekend for special screenings and panel discussions, presentations of research papers, installations of films and videos, an exhibit of archival material, as well as socializing and refreshments. Full descriptions of all papers presented, film screenings, and panel discussions live at the Los Angeles Filmforum website and we encourage you to visit the site to find out more.
