Description

A UCLA student film by Linda Jassim, music by Paul Lewinson performed on the Moog synthesizer. A powerful New American Cinema psychodrama in which the frustrating function of the female as a sexual tool of the male in society is depicted in surrealistic cinematic ballet style. Outstanding use of special optical effects and creative imagery!

Beautifully photographed and with an intriguing electronic score, CYCLES is a mysterious and dynamic visualization of a woman's rape, and her subsequent return to the womb.
