Kai Cheng is a plavwright and filmmaker, one of his plays, Disciple of the Insane, was presented by the UCLA Theatre Department and byNew York's Cafe La Mama. Nadja was Kai Cheng's third film done at UCLA, made in the early 1970's and voted by the students to be the best film of the year.
