Description
'Conrad animates a continuous pattern of sound and image, repeated in precise mathematical relationships without regard to film frames. The series of stripe patterns were printed directly on the strip of celluloid without photographic assistance. The patterns extend into the film's optical sound track area, thus creating sound as well as visual images. Considerable color and movement illusions result from the repetition of these static, back and white patterns'
