A crew of men dressed as technicians removes seven X's fromt he steps of the Santa Barbara Museum of Art, rolls them the length of the main street of town out to the end of the wharf, dumps them into the ocean and then, in a boat, tows them out to sea. The public's response to this intriguing and mysterious circumstance is well recorded in this film, which holds its viewers absorbed and enlightened. -- Paul C.
