Composer and musician Frank Zappa was raised in Southern California and lived most of his adult life in the Los Angeles area, contributing massively not only to the musical culture of the region, but also in some notable ways to the film community. Zappa was extremely interested in film and animation, and was involved in a number of film projects, including BURNT WEENY SANDWICH, UNCLE MEAT, 200 MOTELS, and the animation of Bruce Bickford, among others.
